About Friend Firefighting International
Our Mission
Our board's mission is to promote the hiring of Black Americans in the positions of professional Firefighters, Fire Officers, and Chief Fire Officers, working side by side with fellow firefighters. We aim to create a diverse and inclusive environment within the fire service by building relationships with organizations that share our aims & goals. Our goal is to serve our fellow community members as professional Firefighters, while acting as positive role models, dedicated volunteers, tax-paying neighbors, and friends.

We strive to break down barriers and create equal opportunities for Black Americans to contribute their skills, talents, and expertise to Oregon Cities, Counties, and State fire agencies.
